A low, tapered cup with an angular bottom and  pronounced foot. Ribbed texture that highlights the verdigris glaze that blends from turquoise to blue with rusty red undertones, reminiscent of the blue-green patina of aged copper.

Clay: A dark red-burning clay with a smooth texture and refined finish.

Care instructions

All pieces are made from durable stoneware and are designed for everyday use.

  • Dishwasher safe, but best on the top rack
  • Hand-washing is recommended for extra care and longevity
  • Microwave safe, though always use with care
  • Stoneware is strong but still ceramic and fragile. Please handle gently to avoid chips or breakage
Food Safety

All pieces are fully vitrified and food safe.

  • Glazed with non-toxic, food-safe materials
  • No unsafe chemicals or substances will leach into food or drinks, even with heat
  • Safe for daily use with food and beverages
Shipping & Local Pickup

When Canada-wide shipping is available, it will be clearly noted in the announcement bar at the top of the site. At times, shipping is only available for a limited time.

All orders can be picked up at Kōbō Collective (615 David Street, Unit 2, Victoria, BC). After placing your order, I’ll be in touch to arrange a pickup time. Feel free to leave a note at checkout if you have preferences around date or time.

Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days. Because everything is made and handled by me in small batches, processing times may vary slightly during busy drops.

Pieces are made in small batches and released in limited drops. Once a drop sells out, restocks depend on time, capacity, and whether that piece or glaze is part of the ongoing collection.

Each piece is handmade, which means natural variations in shape, glaze, and finish are part of the process. Clay bodies stay consistent, while staple glazes remain part of the core collection. Seasonal glazes may be more limited and can vary slightly from batch to batch.

When Canada-wide shipping is available, it will be clearly noted on the site. At times, shipping will be only available for a limited window. Check the announcement banner at the top of the site for the latest status on shipping.

At this time, I don’t offer returns. Exchanges are welcome, and customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with exchanges.

Please reach out if your piece arrives damaged. I’ll work with you to arrange a replacement or refund. Replacement pieces may take up to 8 weeks, depending on available stock and production timelines.
